We turn the field's most trusted models, evidence, and expertise into businesses that strengthen the systems serving children and families. Built with Georgetown’s Thrive Center through the system, not against it.
Our first independent company, launched June 2026, is a workforce development business built on the Center's mental health consultation model. Five months from incubation to launch. $500,000+ in revenue. $0 investment. $0 marketing spend.
Most studios test hundreds of ideas a year and hunt for validation. We start where the trust already exists. A proven model. A strong evidence base. A name the field recognizes. It can come from inside Georgetown, from a partner institution, or from your own practice. Then we put the weight of Georgetown behind it.
We are also not neutral about what we build. The biggest gains for children and families come from putting what clinicians and researchers know into the hands of the people already in the room. Educators. Home visitors. Caregivers. Not another app. Not another pilot.
A model, an evidence base, a recognized name. The kind of credibility that opens doors on day one. We do not start from zero and we do not ask you to.
Our companies work with the institutions, programs, and funding streams that serve children and families. That is where the value is and we know the decision makers.
We say no a lot. We are not a factory. A small number of strong companies with higher chances of success beats a portfolio of noise.
Georgetown’s Thrive Center built the models the field runs on, across children’s mental health, disabilities, and early childhood. Its work has been funded and recognized across the federal government, from Health and Human Services to the Departments of Defense and Education. It developed the national model for early childhood mental health consultation, and it is the federally designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) for the District of Columbia.
None of that trust and credibility has to be earned from scratch. It transfers to every company we build, and it opens doors other startups work years to access.
Attunify was built on one of the Center’s models. There are fifty years of them.
Even the most proven clinical model only becomes a business when the right operator runs with it. We bring both together.
A model, a program, a reputation. At Georgetown, at another institution, or in your own practice. You do not need three more years to figure out how to commercialize it. That is what we do, with you. Your name and your science stay protected. You choose how deep to go, from advisor to cofounder.
Avoid the cold start problem and derisk your venture. We bring the model, the evidence, the access, and a playbook that has worked. You bring the operating expertise. Roles, ownership, and timing get structured deal by deal. If that is you, let’s talk.
Whether you have built something worth commercializing or you are the operator who can build it, tell us what brings you. The right person will reply personally.
